Header

Is that header mooning the house?

There are carps I watch and feel confident in their ability and will walk near set pieces they are working on because they know what they’re doing.

There are others that make me wish I was on the other side of the world watching them work via a webcam so when things go wrong I’m safely away from the danger . Probably sitting on a comfortable chair watching tv and drinking coffee.

Nearly a half hour of prying, unscrewing and beating on it the header finally gave way and flew out of the way on it’s single pick. It gave a little turn and waited to be brought in. I be a small piece of gaff tape was holding it together but it might have been some misplaced screws. Either way it seemed odd.

Watson Wisdom Wednesday

February 23, 2011 Leave a comment

It didn’t happen often but once in a while there’d be free food. Mostly it was just ok but it saved thinking about a meal and once in a while it’d be something good.

So Rich looked as forward to these days as the rest of us but he had a secret. Took a while to figure it out but Rich would wait until people ate their fill and then he’d disappear. A while later he’d return with a tuperwear, fill it up and return it to his bag. It kept him from worrying about dinner, and sometimes breakfast and lunch.

Always carry a corn-tainer because you never know if there will be free food.

This morning I got 2 checks, a 5v wall charger and a dvd of 20 Bucks in the mail. Sitting on the loading dock at the gig du jour were 2 pallets of source 4s, an Ion, and a dimmer rack

If it was under a tree it’d be like christmas.

Letter to Sarge

February 21, 2011 Leave a comment

Dear Sarge Knives,

First off thank you for sending me a replacement knife. The Hobo Knife is essential part of my kit and I was bothered when mine broke.

Thing is did you need to send it with so much packaging?

It wouldn’t have bothered me if it came in a padded envelope but at least my cat has a box to play in.

Just keep it in mind,

That 1 Tech

Lift Operator

Today was the out for the artist’s trust. 3 hours in a lift, an hour striking the stage, checking road cases and other things. Easy stuff. Barely worth mentioning.
